LASER TREATMENTS

A Laser treatment is an effective solution that helps treat a number of skin concerns, including skin texture and tone, wrinkles, acne, collagen production and some forms of pigmentation.
Using laser energy with long wavelengths that penetrate deeply without injuring the top layer of skin, the deep dermis is stimulated to produce natural collagen and other vital proteins. This results in the resurfacing of your skin, giving it a healthy and youthful appearance.

SKIN RESURFACING

Cosmetic laser skin resurfacing is a method for diminishing the appearance of imperfections on the skin’s surface. A laser is used to dissolve the molecular bonds of the damaged skin cells layer by layer until a smoother, more uniform skin appearance is achieved. The two types of lasers most commonly used in laser resurfacing are carbon dioxide (CO2) and erbium. Each laser vaporizes skin cells damaged at the surface-level.

SKIN WHITENING

Treatment for hyperpigmentation, darkened areas of skin in the form of melasma, age spots, and sometimes freckles, and is often sought to repair sun-damaged skin. In some cultures, skin lightening, or whitening, is considered the path to achieving a pale or lighter skin tone and color. Individuals usually lighten skin through topical skin bleaching with topical chemicals, although certain cosmetic procedures, including chemical peels, may also be able to lighten a person's complexion.

DERMABRASION FOR SCARS

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, gentle treatment that removes layers of dead and damaged skin, revealing a smoother, fresher complexion. Performed by a hand-held wand that features an exfoliating diamond tip, the wand is passed over the skin two or three times , drawing in air which creates a vacuum when the wand touches the skin. As the exfoliating tip of the wand passes across the skin’s surface, it picks up dead surface skin cells along the way, unclogging pores, removing dry skin and refining the skin’s texture

Fillers

Facial fillers are products such as collagen, hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyl apatite that rejuvenate facial skin by reducing or eliminating wrinkles, raising scar depressions, enhancing lips and replacing soft-tissue volume loss through facial injections.

Depending on the type of filler, the effects can last anywhere from six months to two years; for semi-permanent or permanent fillers, the effects can last up to five years, and there are reports of even longer-lasting results.

BOTOX

Botulinum toxin injection is a process of injecting a formula from an organism that is naturally found in our environment where it is largely inactive and non-toxic. It is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic surgery treatment to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. People also use Botox to treat excessive sweating, muscular disorders, and some bladder and bowel disorders.
Botox should not be used in pregnant or lactating women, or by people who have had a previous allergic reaction to the drug or any of its ingredients.

FACIAL AND DIAMOND PEEL

Deep cleansing facial will leave you a clean and gleaming face. This technique will help nourish your skin by stimulating blood circulation. In this way blood will help to stimulate oxygen and remove toxins by ridding the skin of impurities. Added with some vitamin and minerals that will nourish the skin.
A diamond peel treatment is a mechanical exfoliation technique similar to microdermabrasion. This noninvasive cosmetic procedure removes excess oil, dirt, and dead cells on the surface of the skin to reveal the younger, brighter skin cells underneath. A diamond peel can improve the appearance of fine wrinkles and lines, even out a patchy complexion, and reduce mild to moderate acne breakouts.ingredients.

ACNE TREATMENTS

Laser resurfacing with a CO2 or carbon dioxide laser is a treatment option for raised birthmarks, moles, scarring from acne and sun-damaged skin.

If you have fine lines or wrinkles around the eyes, mouth or on the forehead, scars from acne, or non-responsive skin after a facelift, then you may be a good candidate for laser skin resurfacing.

If you have active acne or if you have very dark skin, you may not be a candidate. This technique is also not recommended for stretch marks.

CAUTERIZATION

Wart removal is a process of removing the wart tissue from the surface of the skin. One way to remove warts is Electrocauterization. It is a routine surgical procedure. A surgeon or doctor uses electricity to heat tissue in order to prevent or stop bleeding after an injury or during surgery, remove abnormal tissue growth, or prevent infection

PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPHY

Before and After micro-needling (courtesty of Dr. Sikorski and Natural Image)

Photodynamic therapy is a combination chemical-laser treatment which causes the destruction of precancerous lesions and photodamage.

When Levulan is applied to the skin, it is converted to a natural and potent photosensitizer. Illumination with a high intensity light or a laser causes an oxidation reaction in the treated skin resulting in destruction of the target. Precancerous lesions and pilosebaceous units (hair follicles and oil glands) preferentially absorb Levulan, which results in targeted therapy with minimal damage to surrounding tissue.
